The Bouncing Springs Lab software is a simulation of a spring bouncing up and down. The mass and the spring constant can be changed and the period can be measured using a stopwatch provided on the screen. The included lab handout will ask students to run experiments, take data, and find the relationships and equations between the three variables of mass, spring constant, and period. The lab asks students to provide all required data tables and graphs in one Excel spreadsheet. A complete answer key Excel spreadsheet is included.
