This activity promotes the introduction of the topics in Physics which will be studied during a beginning physics course. It is an alternative to simply reading the first chapter. It has been utilized successfully in both C.P. and Honors Physics classes.
The activity can be presented live in class (groups of four students) or can be recorded depending on your technical situation and time constraints.
I have utilized this as part of the first day activities,using the planning stages as a method of creating student excitement about the subject and the presentations later in the week.
