The lesson is scaffolded to even the most basic level, and the scaffolds can easily be adjusted for differentiation. The folder contains guided notes (in multiple formats), PowerPoint and homework. This lesson is the third of a three day arc that I have on conservation of mechanical energy. Students should already know about kinetic, spring potential and gravitational potential energy. This lesson is meant to convey mathematics, and assumes students already have a firm grasp on the concepts of energy conservation. I highly recommend you look up the phet energy skate park simulation (just google it) and show it off to your class (after playing around with it yourself for a bit).
