****This is a shortened version of the original Physics Learning Stations: Exploring Physics- Matter in Motion BUNDLE
found in my TPT store. If timing does not allow your students to explore all 8 learning stations (defining and calculating speed, how forces affect an object's motion, define force, net force, balanced and unbalanced forces, friction- a force that opposes motion, types of friction, friction as helpful, harmful and reducing friction, gravity- a force of attraction, mass and weight, comparing gravity on the moon to gravity on Earth, what if gravity disappeared
on measuring motion) you can purchase a modified version of each station(s).
Matter in Motion: What is a Force- Students work in groups of 3 or 4 and have about 40 minutes to complete the station activities. Each student records his/her own observations and answers in his/her own lab packet.
The attached activity file includes detailed instructions for putting together the activity. A list of materials and links to video clips is included in the teacher notes. A detailed PPT presentation with answers and additional video clips is included in the attached file.
8 computers with internet access are required for this activity.
