This set of simple qualitative graphs gives students an opportunity to reason about the relationship between displacement, velocity, and acceleration.
There are 12 graphs total. Students must match 4 different p-t graphs with the corresponding v-t and a-t graphs. The graphs are out of order on the printable so that students can cut the cards themselves if you'd like them to.
- I used this for a quick warm up/review before diving into analyzing quantitative graphs.
- The last four pages of the PDF show the solutions. This can be projected to help with the class discussion!
