This lab activity is intended to fulfill the requirements of a Level 4 - Open Inquiry Lab Activity. That means that the student(s) investigate questions that are student formulated through student designed/selected procedures.
This activity contains a planning worksheet for an open inquiry laboratory experience relating to the conservation of momentum. It allows the students to take ownership of the experimental design process and create something awesome. Includes a self-evaluation tool that allows you to assign a total number of points to the group. Upon completion, students will decide how the points will be awarded based on participation in creating the final product.
