Product Description
This bundle is best for the New York State Physics Regents Exam and follows the New York State Standards.

This bundle contains:
Unit 1: Force Basics (1 dimensional forces and science skills)
- 45 pages of guided note sheets for students without solutions
- 11 lesson plans aligned to New York State Physics standards (using my school's lesson plan template).
- 1 review assignment with answers (included in the 45 pages)
- 1 Curriculum Map for New York State Regents Physics
- 1 New York State Physics Reference Table (also available free online)

Lesson Philosophy: In each lesson students engage in a variety of activities from talking points, reflect and discuss, discover its, try its, practice etc. It takes me about 16 days to get through these lessons with 45 minute classes, but every student population is different and should be adjusted to the pace of the students.

The guided note sheets are written in powerpoint, but print out like normal worksheets. The guided notes can be projected on a board in powerpoint or reformatted. The bundle does not contain guided note solutions, labs, or assessments. Some lessons will require basic lab materials such as meter sticks and scales etc. Teachers are encouraged to modify the lessons to meet their student population's needs.

Lesson AIMS:
1.01 How can you change an object’s state of motion?
1.02 How are static and dynamic equilibrium different?
1.03 How do I draw free-body diagrams using vectors?
1.04 How can you find the resultant of two vectors?
1.05 How do I find the magnitude of a resultant vector?
1.06 How do ancient ideas shape our current knowledge of motion?
1.07 What is Newton’s 1st Law of Inertia and how does it apply to our world?
1.08 How are mass and weight related?
1.09 How do I accurately represent quantities using significant figures?*
1.10 How can I use dimensional analysis to solve for units?
1.11 How can I use dimensional analysis to problem solve?

*During lesson 1.09, I only teach them how to multiply and divide sig figs since there are few instances in regents physics were they will need to add/subtract them. This lesson could be skipped overall. I mostly teach these skills in lab, which is not included in this bundle.
