For this activity, each partner group will need a timer to use when timing each “study time”. The students will rotate “studying/ memorizing” the numbers of Pi for the designated time on the table (30 seconds, 1 minute, 1 minute 30 seconds, etc.). After the students have gone through all rounds, then they will answer the reflection question on the back of the worksheet and fill out the line graph using a different color for each partner’s data points.
This can be a great activity for a math center, sub plan, Pi day, etc.
