Give your students an opportunity to engage in math and have fun on Pi Day with these Pi Day activities. These Pi Day centers include 6 activities are perfect activities for middle school. Just set them up as stations around your room.
*Pi Day Flip for Circumference & Flip for Area of Circles
→ 2 game sheets - one for circumference, one for area (includes whole numbers & decimals)

*Pi Day Time for Pie Board Game
→ game board (includes die and game pieces, or you can use your own)
→ 24 game cards working with radius, diameter, circumference, and area of circles
→ directions and answer key
*Pi Day Fraction Color
→ 1 color sheet comparing fractions to 22/7 (problems include improper fractions, mixed numbers, adding & subtracting mixed numbers, multiplying & dividing fractions)
→ answer key
*Pi Day Cookie Measure
→ station direction sheet (compute circumference)
→ recording sheet
Students will each need a cookie and a ruler. These are not included.
*Pi Day Cookie Stack
→ station direction sheet (compute volume of a cylinder)
→ recording sheet
This station requires a bag of cookies, a ruler, and a timer. These are not included.
*Pi Day Pi Toss
→ station direction sheet (add decimals)

This station requires a water bottle and 2 sets of 5 rings (paper plates with center cut out) of different colors. These are not included.
