Pi Day Activity Bundle - Area & Circumference of Circles

If you looking for somthing fun to do on Pi Day, but you also want it to be a worthwhile experience for your students, then look no further! This duo of activities is the perfect way to celebrate Pi Day (or just review circle basics, when needed).

  This activity is perfect for students because it helps them derive and understand the values and formulas that go into finding the area and circumference of circles. It also goes through deriving pi with students!
• Area & Circumference of Circles Coloring Activity - Pi Day Activity
  This self-checking coloring activity is the perfect followup to the circle investigation. Students can apply what they've learned during the investigation to complete 10 area and circumference problems--the answers they get should match up, creating the color-coding key for the beatiful picture! No matter how old your students are, they always love coloring!
