Pi Day Internet Investigation Activity for Secondary Students
This eighteen question activity is designed for middle and high school math students to complete during Pi Day (March 14). Students will need access to the internet to answer most of the questions.
This activity pairs well with with the "Surface Area and Volume
" Unit in Geometry!
-List five formulas that use pi.
-What value did the Egyptians give pi?
-Who first tried to approximate pi?
-What set of numbers does pi belong to?
