Share the joy of pi by solving these 9 different formulas for π in this worksheet. They are formulas for volume, area, and surface area. There is at least 1 equation in this worksheet that is more advanced, so if your students are in Algebra 1 or below, have them skip #8 or give bonus points. It requires factoring to solve.
This worksheet could be used in Algebra 1, 2, 3, or in Precalculus. It would also work well for SAT/ACT preparation because many students falter when the equations are mostly variables and they need to isolate a single variable.
Please let me know if it works for your classroom!
