Are you looking for a fun, engaging way to reinforce the concept of “Pi”? Well look no further. This activity is a quick and easy way to give a hands-on look at a difficult subject.

Instruct the students to write a small 2-3 sentence saying about Pi using first person. I have included some blank thought clouds so that the kids can choose the one they would like. Also, I have one typed for you to use as a guide.

Once the “I am” writing part is done, I allow them the chance to color their symbols, cut, and glue on type of the Pi Number Sheet (Print on different color paper if you would like to display the student's work). The number sheet has the numbers of Pi all the way down and concludes with ... for you to stress to the students that Pi is infinite.

That’s it. Not hard and it doesn’t take long.

Great to hang on the wall or as a bulletin board display.
