Pi day is March 14th! These are the perfect addition to your instruction! You can find other CIRCLE or PI DAY related activities, HERE

This bundle includes a 3-tiered activity with a Circle/Pi day "craft" embedded. Use the answer sheet for accountability or to assess what the students know.

Circumference:
Tier 1 includes: Finding the Circumference of a circle given a whole number diameter.

Tier 2 includes: Finding the Circumference of a circle given a whole number radius.

Tier 3 includes: Finding the Circumference of a circle given a decimal radius OR diameter

Area:
Tier 1 includes: Finding the Area of a circle given a whole number radius.

Tier 2 includes: Finding the Area of a circle given a whole number diameter (which may or may not produce a decimal radius)

Tier 3 includes: Finding the Area of a circle given a decimal radius OR diameter.

There are 14 problems for each Tier. This activity is ideal for stations, independent or partner practice, or formative assessment. On the answer sheet students should write the heart number, show their work, and give their answer.
