Take your classroom poetry routine into the 21st century with these interactive PicCollage™ Halloween Poetry templates. Poetry promotes literacy, increases reading fluency, builds community, and fosters emotional resilience. It can cross boundaries that little else can but is often left out of our daily teaching due to time and curriculum constraints. I have found that using a simple and quick daily poetry routine allows me to access the benefits of exposing my students to poetry without the need to “take” from somewhere else. It’s sure to be a hit in your room too!
Students can add images, stickers, text etc. and share their creations via Seesaw, email, text... you name it! If using Seesaw, students can also record themselves reading their poem for fluency practice and added accountability.
Teachers will need the ability to airdrop images to their students iPads or a QR code reader.
PicCollage Kids™ (or regular PicCollage™) will need to be installed on iPads for use.
