PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is an integrated, differentiated phonics and art activity, inspired by Pablo Picasso’s pottery. Children create a piece of pottery and then need to follow a series of directions for painting. They need to problem-solve to determine missing short vowel sounds to be able to read the directions! Differentiated printable levels are provided. Your students will be motivated to apply their understanding of short vowel sounds in order to create their masterpieces! Aligned with the ELA Common Core State Standards!

This activity is part of a Pablo Picasso Artist Study, which is a portion of our complete Artist Biography Unit.
