This is a great morning activity. Have a student come up and spin the wheel. They choose a card from the corresponding pouch which is determined by what they land on from the spinner. They will answer the question on the card. This activity contains math, rhyming, patterns and opposites.
To construct the activity: Laminate all the components of the activity. Cut out the front and back card pouches, located on pages 3 and 4. Staple or tape the card pouches together. The activity cards, located on pages 5-8, cut out and place in the corresponding pouch. For the spinner you can either attach the arrow with brad fastener or paperclip method.
The paperclip method:
Bend the paperclip in a 90 degree angle
Curl one end of the paperclip. This end will stick out on the front of your spinner insert the other end through your arrow and spinner.
Tape the paperclip on the back to avoid sharp edges leaving the curled end up
