Description
Pick and Point activities help your students learn or review concepts. This set shows coins and their values only.
This activity will teach your students to discriminate between the value of a penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. The coins are made proportionately and in color. They also will be able to review the names of the coins which will increase their vocabulary.
This product is just what you need in a pinch. You can download it and use it right away. These slides do not need to be copied or printed. You can project them on your document camera right from your computer. However if you choose, you may print them and use them in a center or small group.
You do not need to put construction paper colors in your corners as you might with the Four Corners games.
Instead your students can stay in their seats and use their hands to point to the correct answer.
If you want them to get up and move, they can move to the directional corner that matches with the coin they want for the answer.
There are also 4 worksheets that can be used for accountability if you'd like.
