This interactive book targets pronouns. Very often, I have young students who confuse subjective (he, she, they) and possessive (his, her, their) pronouns. They need to be able to receptively identify them before we can move to expressively naming them.
This book does not have a theme. Each page features a sentence and the choice of two pictures that may illustrate the sentence. Student must move the correct picture to the blue square, based on the pronoun. Once the student has mastered this, you can have him/her say the sentence. There are 15 pages for subjective pronouns and 15 pages for possessive pronouns.
Set Up: Print and laminate book (pg. 3-33). Print, laminate, and cut out interactive pieces (pg. 34-38). There will be two pictures for each page. Affix one side of Velcro to all boxes on each page. Affix the other side to the two pictures for each page and place in the bottom two squares. Attach all pages together with binder rings. You can also print two copies of the pictures to play a memory game if you wish.
There are also 4 worksheets you can use for follow-up activities (pg. 39-42)
