This can be used as a math center or whole group to teach a conceptual understanding of the numbers 1-10. Simply put it inside a sheet protector or laminate it so students can write on it and erase again with a dry erase marker.
Students can pick a number card or roll a dice. They write the number that they roll in the center box.
Then students decide what number is one more and one less than their number.
Next they count up to their number, fill in a tens frame for their number, draw tallies to represent their number, draw a picture to show their number and write their number onto a number line.
It is great number practice for students pre-K through first grade!
