Pumpkin picking has never been such fun! In these interactive games your students will choose a pumpkin then read the pattern behind it. Additionally, teaching extension ideas have been included as well as a set of staff pages for writing practice. These worksheets will promote musical writing, dictation and composition skills.
To play, you simply click on a pumpkin in the PDF files. The students will then read the melodic pattern hiding behind the pumpkin. You could choose to play in teams and see who can correctly read more pumpkins correctly or you could use these in centers. You can also use the stick notation PDFs for a stick to staff activity with the included staff pages!
Included are four interactive PDFs: one written in solfa-stick notation with note heads, one written in solfa-stick notation without note heads, one on the staff in F-do and one on the staff in G-do.
Melodic elements included in this file (re tetratonic and pentatonic patterns):
