Pick and Point activities help your students learn or review concepts. This set shows coin and their names recognition only.
This activity will teach your students to discriminate between the penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. They are made proportionately and in color. They also will learn to recognize the names of the coins which will increase their vocabulary.
These slides do not need to be copied or printed. You can project them on your document camera right from your computer.
You do not need to put construction paper colors in your corners as you might with the Four Corners games.
Instead your students can stay in their seats and use their hands to point to the correct answer.
If you want them to get up and move, they can move to the directional corner that matches with the coin they want for the answer.
You can also print these and put them in a center or use with an adult in a small group, and they can touch the right coins or words.
