Picking Apples - Short Vowel Sound (CVC Phonics Pack)

This is a fun apple themed phonics activity to help your students listen and identify short vowel sounds. This printable includes ten apple cards with CVC pictures, an "apple picking tree", used to place the apple picture cards, and a Find and Color the matching vowel sound worksheet. This pack requires very little prep - cut out the apple picture cards and place on the apple tree worksheet. Students will be instructed to 'Pick an apple", say the picture word, listen and identify the short vowel sound, and finally find and color the matching vowel on their worksheet.
