This Powerpoint/Keynote presentation was designed to help grade 1 and 2 students understand the definition of a pictograph key and practice reading tricky keys. It begins with a circle map that defines what a graph key is and moves towards guided examples that point out the more difficult types of keys.
For example: Keys that equal more than 1 and keys that have 1/2 of a picture to represent a number.
This presentation includes 6 interactive slides with animation that allow you to guide your students on how to read pictograph keys with ease.
