Product Description
Help your students improve their expressive verbal language skills and/or written english skills with these picture cards! This resource can be used when working one student, a small group of students, or even a large class. Differentiated teaching can be used by selecting lower or higher level picture cards for students in advance, based on their vocabulary level. Picture cards are included for each letter of the alphabet. Pictures are real photographs rather than clip art, allowing this resource to be appropriate for older students.

One fun way to use this resource is to hand out all of the picture cards for a few letters, and then have your students group according to peers who have a picture card beginning with the same letter. This is a wonderful way for students to work on their yes/no questions, in addition to social pragmatic skills necessary for working in a group! Your students can work together to create a story using their picture cards. Depending on your students' levels, they can either verbal tell there story or write their story. Each student should take a turn telling part of the story, once they are finished!

This resource includes:
Directions
150 picture cards
2 lined sheets of paper for story writing
1 Sample story
4 Sequence pages (labeled First, Then, Next, Last)
4 Sequence pages (with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4)
