Picture Cards for Anchor Charts or Sorting Mats
Recognizing alphabet letters and sounds is so important for young learners! These picture cards are perfect for creating alphabet anchor charts OR for sorting cards on letter mats.
These picture cards would be great for making anchor charts at the beginning of the year and then having students sort cards independently at a literacy center!
Included are the following resources:
*6 picture cards for each letter of the alphabet
*Circle alphabet letters to use when making anchor charts. Just put the letter in the middle and then the cards around the letter.
*Alphabet sorting mats for each letter
****For the vowels, some of the picture cards have the long sound and some have the short sound. For the letter "X," I have included words that end in the letter "x" and words that start with the letter "x."
