Picture It Game Board is a great game to practice drawing a picture for multiplication, division, fractions, money, time, and geometry.
Must have 4-6 players. (2 teams of 2 or 2 teams of 3)
Roll the dice to decide who goes first. Then whoever wins, rolls and you move forward whatever amount you rolled. Look at the symbol on the square your game piece is on, and then draw a card. Look for the symbol on the card. If the words/symbol is pink it is all play. If it is all play, both teams will draw at the same time and try to guess the answer first. If it is black then only your team draws and guesses. For example: you land on the multiplication symbol and the card says 28. You must draw groups or an array that will give you the product of 28. The only way you are able to move forward is if you win on your turn. If the other team wins but it was on your turn, no one moves. You have two minutes to figure out what the answer is. If both teams fail to guess the answer, the round is over and the other team gets to draw a card. The person who is drawing cannot talk. The first one to the finish wins.
I created this game to have my students draw a picture to represent the answer.
