This NO PRINT resource is an innovative and functional activity to target past tense verbs, plus a slew of other expressive language goals!
Included in this resource are 30 real picture scenes, each one presented . The first presentation shows the perspective of someone taking a photo of the person/people on a phone. On this page, the student can make a sentence about what's happening using present tense verbs. The next page depicts the perspective of someone showing the photo they took on their phone (with the day/time of the photo visible) so the student can formulate a sentence about what happened using a past tense verb (see the PREVIEW for an example).
In addition to present and past tense verbs, this resource provides a natural context for targeting a variety of language goals to talk about the pictures, such as:
This resource is a PDF, but there are interactive components built in, including clickable buttons to navigate the pages, as well as fillable text boxes where you or the student can type the sentence (optional). It can be opened on a tablet (in a PDF reader such as Apple Books), or on a computer (in a PDF reader such as Adobe Reader). The versatility of this resource makes it perfect for mixed groups. Use it as a therapy activity, or to fill a few minutes at the end of a session.
