Persuasion is the art of getting what you want. This 20 page package contains 15 photographs for persuasive argument writing prompts.
These picture prompts can be used as tools for teaching students how to present points of view, support their ideas, and convince the reader to take action. Students can write points for both sides of the issues and decide which side they want to take. Then, they can go ahead and work on a rough draft. After reviewing the rough draft with the students, the teacher can provide constructive criticism and positive feedback to encourage and support the budding writers.
While going through the persuasive argument writing process, students will learn how to structure their arguments and become more effective writers. This package will help them to engage with an audience of readers and be participatory learners.
A comprehensive guide to writing persuasive arguments is also available and is a great resource for introducing your students to the art of writing a persuasive argument.
