Ever have a school picture that doesn't turn out perfectly? Make light of the situation through dramatic play and writing! After reading a funny children's story, Picture Day Perfection, about the struggles students face on school picture day, turn students loose to act out their own struggles with school pictures. This lesson contains dramatic play to allow students to role play. A graphic organizer for a follow up writing piece is also included. This lesson is 7 pages long and includes 1 page of directions, 1 graphic organizer, and 5 pages of game cards. It is also available in my Movement Mania pack!

Try this lesson out in a book club or when you need a fill in lesson for classes that are ahead of others. Enjoy!
