These picture scenes are easy to use and multi-functional! Use them in articulation, speech fluency, and oral language therapy sessions (individual or group). Teachers and other educators may also find them useful.
A) To use as a barrier activity: the child describes a picture scene, one sentence at a time, while keeping the picture out of the opponent’s view. S/he uses a target speech sound, speech fluency strategy, voice strategy, or oral language structure, as determined by you. The opponent draws the scene based on the information given. players then compare the drawn image to see how ‘close’ it is to the original picture.
B) To use as a carryover activity: the child describes the picture scenes using a target speech sound, speech fluency strategy, voice strategy, or oral language structure.
There are eight picture scenes included: graveyard; costumes; witch’s house; treat bag; playing in leaves; pumpkin patch; apple picking; and Thanksgiving meal
