Description

Pictures schedule cards for preschool provide your students with a visual representation of the day's activities. At young ages, preschoolers are still developing their concept of time. As a result, visual schedules are such an important resource for young children.

Photo schedules also help with management because preschoolers are able to refer to them independently. They do not need to ask you, the teacher (or parent), what will be happening next in the day. Photo schedules also help young children feel safe and secure because they know their day will follow a specific routine.

It's important to develop a strong routine around your visual schedule. Once students understand how the schedule works, they can help you plan the activities throughout the day. If you'd like more information on how to create a schedule for preschool at home, check out my blog post here.
