Have some fun with this interactive pie and turkey craftivity! This product includes a pie and turkey template and targets for the following goals:
Articulation: initial, medial, and final /K, G, F, V, J, L, S, R, CH, SH, TH/
Phonology: Final Consonant Deletion, Initial Consonant Deletion, Fronting, Backing, Cluster Reduction, Stopping, Gliding, Prevocalic Voicing, Syllable Reduction, Syllable Structure
Language: Regular Verbs, Irregular Verbs, Regular Plurals, Irregular Plurals, Pronouns, Objective Function, Adjectives, Synonyms, Antonyms, Multiple Meaning, Categories, Associations
There is also a page with carrier phrases for students working at higher level contexts.
Print the pie template, turkey template, and the needed target pages on white or colored paper. The student or therapist will cut out the turkey (color if desired) and glue it onto a popsicle/craft stick. The student will cut out and glue the targets onto the pie. The therapist will cut the line on the pie (an exacto knife works best but scissors or a pencil point can also be used). Put the stick through the slit on the pie so that the turkey can be moved up and down. Move the turkey to the different targets to practice at the word level or using a carrier phrase.
