This easy to use PowerPoint game template can be used for any content area for all grades. Create 20 of your own questions to review before quizzes and tests, or customize to meet the different needs of your students. This is also an engaging way to review before standardized tests. Or, use this game during a teacher observation from your principal/superintendent. The game is engaging with animated images as well as captivating sounds, such as carnival music, applause, laughter, and pie splats that will create a fun learning atmosphere in your classroom.
The PowerPoint plays similar to the popular board game, in addition to the carnival game, “Pie in the Face.” When a question is answered correctly the student/team is directed to spin the wheel to determine how many pies will be thrown at their character. Players will then step up to the pie throwing booth to take the risk of getting splatted in the face with pie – how many pies will hit them? No one knows! At the end of the game, the player/teams that were hit with the least number of pies is declared the winner!
This can be used with SmartBoard, Elmo, or projectors connected to computers in your classroom. Instructions for setup and gameplay are included, as well as fun ideas that can be used in the classroom while playing “Pie in the Face.”
Students will ask to play this game again and again!
