As educators, we understand that every student learns differently. We all have different ways of getting the material from the paper into our brains.
This often isn't talked about until much later. I saw a need at my school for the kids to begin to understand that all students are different when it comes to learning. It's not as black and white as "he's smarter than me" or "she's just better at math." There are reasons why some things come easier to some kids than others.
I searched high and low for multiple intelligence quizzes to give my young ones (I work at a primary school). Most were aimed at the older students.
I created my "Piece of the Pie Intelligence Quiz". Each pie has 4 slices, each one representing an area of the Connell Multiple Intelligence Questionnaire For Children.
I hope this activity helps you to better understand your student's learning style and also help them to better understand themselves.
