These little pigs are so cute! The kids follow an easy step-by-step drawing of the pig, and then they have fun painting in watercolors. My kids just LOVE the next step—adding the mud! I show two options: sprinkling on watercolor crystals and splatter painting. Lots of fun, either way!
Some of my students know Charlotte’s Web, and they were excited about drawing and painting Wilbur. Another great tie in is The Three Little Pigs. I love David Wiesner’s picture book version, which features a fun twist on the classic story as well as a happy ending. Included in the project are fun facts about pigs and a word wall with definitions.
