This behavior chart is simple and easy to use! Pineapples are the new rage! Your students are going to love this behavior chart. This could be used for any grade level! Just print and use clear tape to tape the pieces of the chart in order. You can laminate the chart pieces individually or after they are taped together. I like to hang the chart from ribbon. You will need one clothespin for each student in your class. Write each name on both sides of the clothespin with a Sharpie so it will show regardless of which side it is on.
Each student will start the day on “Ready to Learn.” They can move up the chart if they are making good choices. They can also move down the chart if they choose to make bad choices. If a student ends the day on pink or red I write a note home or call the parents. Students can move up after moving down if they turn their behavior around. Added bonus: If a student is on good colors all week they get to choose a prize from my prize box on Friday. If a student makes it to purple they get a skittle. You do not have to add this part, but my students enjoy it!
Calendars are included to report behavior to parents/guardians. I have included both weekly and monthly calendars to choose from. I keep the same color of markers as the chart at my table and color in the calendar depending on which color each student was on at the end of the day. You could also have students color the calendars themselves if they are old enough to understand how.
