With the smash-hit Pinkalicious by Elizabeth Kann in your toolbox, your students will be coloricious for this resource!
At the top the page, it asks the students to write in their favorite color as well as coloring in the crayon. You could even introduce your word wall with this activity by adding color words under the corresponding letter.
Then they are to draw or list as many things as they can think of that are that color. For example if a kiddo picks green they could draw or list: grass, spinach, ball, eyes, etc.
There are directions at the top that inform parents of the activity should you chose to send it home, as well as a funny idea of what the student can do if they finish early. OR you could collect all of the pages and turn it into a classroom book!
We love creating resources of any kind, but especially ones that help follow up a piece of literature. Please drop us a line to let us know if there is a book you'd like an activity to be paired with.
Also, please come back after your download and let us know what you thought of it! This will help us fine tune our resources as well as let other potential buyers know how your students took to the lesson!
