Pioneer Journal

This freebie was created for my first grade students to enjoy a full day of STEAM activities that revolved around our standard of knowing our numbers through 120. In celebration of the 120th day of school, we will take a Frizzle style journey, 120 years back in time. We will explore life as a pioneer on the Oregon Trail and develop schema on the Western Expansion, primary style.

Included are images on how I made a very simple transformation. You'll need PVC Pipes,Twin Fitted Sheets, Eyelets, Zip Ties, Fish Bowl Gravel, Gold Spray Paint, and Beach Sand Toy Shifter.
