This is a practice worksheet for direct objects and object pronouns. The story in the paragraph is based on the Pixar short animated film "Piper," since we are analyzing it for another assignment.
It is intended for an introductory level English as a Second Language/ English Language Development course. It is working very well with my basic level students, though pre-emergent/emergent students need modification and support.
The sentences are very short, simple sentences.
This would also work well in conjunction with a plot analysis of the short.
The download includes a .pdf and .docx copy of the worksheet.
