This resource offers two order of operations activities that your class will love for review or practice! The first activity is a pirate scavenger hunt. Students solve order of operations problems (all problems involve only positive integers). The answers to the problems determine the direction and distance to move on the treasure map. Solve everything correctly, and find the treasure!
The second activity in this resource offers a Pirate Name Generator activity. It is also based on order of operations. There are two expressions given. Students roll dice to fill numbers into the expressions. Based on the answers in the expressions, students get a pirate name.
