Hello everyone! Here is a great resource for promoting active participation from your students in developing posiitve classroom behavior. This interactive behavior management clip chart has a pirate and treasure map theme. It was created in power point and is completely editable to meet the needs of any classroom. My students are encouraged to demonstrate positive behavior at all times. When I, or another teacher, catches one of my students demonstrating positive behavior he/she gets to move the designated clip up the chart. Every student's desire in my classroom is to "POP" their way to the top! All of my POP students (Positively Outstanding Pirates) will receive 3 gold coins to add to their treasure chest at the end of the school day. Once my students get 10 gold coins they will be allowed to choose a reward from the Treasure Box. Students will also understand the repercussions of not following directions if/when they have to move their clip down on the chart. This is a great system that is easily understood and followed by the students as well as easy to communicate to the parents. I have my students to color in their end of the day clip color in their agenda or daily teacher/parent communication calendar. Stay tuned for more resources from Kelly Hall!
