Battle the high seas and conquer those pesky prepositions!
This game meets the CCSS standard:
ELA-Literacy.L.4.1e Form and use prepositional phrases.
Directions:
To set up:
Place tokens on start and place all sentence cards in a stack.
To play:
Youngest player goes first. Draw a sentence card. Read the sentence aloud AND identify the prepositional phrase. Your partner will check to see if you are correct. If your answer is correct, toss a penny to move around the board. Heads move two spaces. Tails move o
ne space. If you are incorrect you may not move.
Note: Some questions cards have more than one prepositional phrase. You must identify BOTH to move your token.
First person to reach the treasure chest wins.
