Give new life to your students’ biography projects and have them make “PIZZA BOX BIOGRAPHIES”! My class used the “Who Was…” biographies to research a famous person. Then we found 10 inch pizza boxes, which the local pizzeria was happy to donate. I cut colorful 9 inch and 10 inch squares for students to use to decorate the top and inside of the pizza box. These biographies are adorable when they are finished and are great for showcasing at events, parent nights, and open houses!
Included in this pack are all the pieces to the project (except the pizza box, of course!) as well as a guide for students as they research. I also provided a student checklist for student self-monitoring throughout the project that can easily be turned into a grading rubric.
