Use these fun Pizza Breathing Printables with your children at school or home to practice breathing exercises daily. I've found that using things that the children enjoy (like Pizza) help the children to keep better focus when doing breathing exercises. Print out on card stock and then laminate them to create longer lifespan. Print enough for each child to have their own pizza to hold and use while breathing. Take time to inhale deeply (take deep belly breath) then exhale slowly and make sure your exhale is almost twice as long as your inhale. This releases stress relieving chemicals into our body and helps us calm down. When you do this with a child in a time of upset, it is called co-regulating. This helps bring the child back up into their executive state so that they are able to make much more logical decisions.
