Pizza Geometry is a set of tasks focused on understanding angles, where to spot them and their relevance in everyday life.
Pupils learn how to measure the angles using pizzas which they divide into pieces, cut and measure/verify angles using a protractor.
There is a table of results, extension activities and starter questions.
Differentiation is provided as lower ability pupils may tackle more simple pizza divisions: eg. halves and quarters. Higher ability pupils may tackle thirds, sixths etc. and predict what the angles will be.
