HOW TO PLAY
Give each student a Pizza-Building Mat. Place the deck of question cards and a pile of toppings in the center of the table. Students take turns choosing Pizza Palace Pragmatics Cards and answering the questions. When an acceptable answer is given, the student rolls the Pizza Toppings Die to determine which topping to match onto his/her Pizza-Building Mat. Ex: student rolls pepperoni and gets to match 1 pepperoni on his/her Pizza. If student already has 2 pepperonis on his/her pizza, s/he cannot add any items to his/her pizza on that turn, but must wait until his/her next turn and try again. If die lands on Pizza Palace!, the student can choose any topping or soda! If all questions have been answered, throw the cards back in the deck, shuffle and continue the game. The first student to add all ingredients and completes his/her pizza wins the game! Alternatively, if you’re short on time, the student with the most toppings wins!
