Place Value is basically the value of a (number) digit determined by the position or place of that digit. Place Value is an extremely important Math concept. Place value is needed for understanding our base ten system.
Students will use physical models to represent hundreds, tens, and ones. Students will then learn to think about and express place value symbolically, and will learn how to break apart numbers.
Students that understand place value will have an easier time with all other Math skills.
It can be difficult to find ways to teach this important skill. This product helps students learn and practice place value with a
variety of games and activities.
Place Value Bonanza will keep your students learning while having fun! It can be used as a unit, or spread out over time to keep the learning fresh and exciting.
