This pack of activities and worksheets will make introducing 2 digit place value, teen numbers, to your little learners, hands-on, concept focused and fun. This is Pack 25 in our series of sequenced math activity packs!

This collection of 5 math games/centers will complement your math program and lessons. Perfect for the teacher who needs fun motivating resources that are easy to prepare. You will need place value blocks, craft sticks and dice to play.

This bundle will help students learning to:

- order picture representations of numbers 11-20 (finger counting pictures)

- make representations of numbers with place value equipment

- partition numbers showing an understanding of place value (place value mat)

- trade ones to make tens

Each of the 5 small-group activities has:

- detailed instructions

- playing cards/boards/templates

- a worksheet (either a recording worksheet or a fun-follow-up)

- a cover page to help you organize your resources for future reference

The activities included in this bundle are:

On the Bus

Students will use pictures of numbers 11-20 (finger counting pictures) to order numbers 11 to 20.

Place Value Houses

Students will make 2 digit numbers with number tiles (included) and build the number using place value blocks.

Place Value Bots

Students will roll 2 dice and use these to create a 2 digit number on their robot. They will then make the number using place value blocks.

Hair Roll

Students will roll a dice and add hair to their game board. They will trade ten ones for a ten and identify a 2 digit number total at the end of play.

Race to 100

Students will roll and add 'ones' to their board - trading every time they get to ten. The first to 100 wins! Adjust to 'first to 50' etc for younger students if needed.

These activities can be used in a structured game rotation program, as math centers or in guided math. Once taught, they also make fantastic 'fast-finisher' activities for revision of key concepts.
