Description

This is a small group winter themed roam the room place value activity for second and third graders that reinforces representing three-digit numerals in different forms; base ten, standard form, expanded form, and number word. It also provides practice with rounding to the nearest ten or hundred, ten less/ more than a number, and one hundred less/ more than a number. It is ideal for use as a math station. You can choose to print the marshmallow pal base ten cards in color or black/ gray/ white. There are seven different recording sheets to choose from, depending on the skills you want your students to practice. A handy helper number word chart is also included. 

This resource was crafted by Judy, a teacher with a master’s degree and more than 35 years of teaching experience.
